Job Description
We are seeking a certified Data Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include developing analysis and reporting capabilities and conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. You will also identify improvements to quality control plans by monitoring performance.
Your responsibilities
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
- Analyze data reports regularly, identifying and resolving any mistakes
- Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis
- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Monitor databases for updates and maintain accuracy
- Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use- Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines and manage time- Comfortable with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Ability to use data tools to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Able to notice small details that could impact results
- Strong critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Must be able to effectively relate data to coworkers using verbal and written communication skills
