Compensation: $25-27/hr depending on experience

Addison Group has a client located in the south suburbs of Minneapolis who is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 2+ years’ experience working in an Accounts Payable Specialist position working with an AP Outlook inbox, 3-way match, posting AP invoices to the general ledger. The ideal candidates will possess solid organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to hit all deadlines. The Accounting Specialist role is paying $25-27/hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Process all AP invoices accurately, ensure appropriate approvals are met before issuing payment
• Processing full-cycle AP, 3-way matching, and working with all vendor expense reporting
• Review all AP holds, reconciliations, and other AP projects as assigned
• Check runs, cutting checks, ACH transactions and reporting
• Ability to take direction well from management regarding excel projects as assigned.
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize projects and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

· Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required

· Intermediate Excel

· Experience working with Great Plains, JDE, Oracle, or QuickBooks

· Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounting role

· Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
