Brooks Design Studio is a boutique interior design firm that is family owned and operated for the last 30 years. We work on a variety of design projects including high end residential, luxury models and clubhouses, in the Orlando, FL area and throughout the country. We are currently looking for new talent to join our team, please read below for job description.
We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Agent / Office Manager
This Position requires:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred -OR- 4+ years Accounting of experience.
• Ability to work with deadlines
• Positive attitude and self-starter
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Adobe, MS, and Apple interfaces)

• Strong organizational skills • Experience or knowledge of Design Manger, a strong plus but not required

• Understanding of design/construction industry a plus but not required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Work closely with Billing, Designers, and Design Assistants

• Reconcile Credit Cards • Process vendor invoices

• Relate and coordinate with finance department project funding needs on a weekly basis
• Data entry for purchasing specifications and execution of purchase orders
• Routine follow up on status of open orders/reviewing order reports
• Receiving/checking in shipments, coordination with our warehouses
• Expedite and prioritize schedule/maintain schedules
• General office administrative tasks (scheduling vendor visits, answering phone, email follow up)
• Manage timesheets
• Manage interns/assistant
• Assist with hiring and onboarding
• Maintain office appearance with organizing and filling

Shift: • 9am – 5pm
