Accounts Payable Manager
SUMMARY: This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate and on-time payables and records relative to the Accounts Payable function of Pacific Ag Rentals. This individual will coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments to best serve the needs of the vendor and co-workers at Pacific Ag Rentals
This individual will maintain a clean and organized desk and office environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operations:
· Process invoices and payments timely and accurately
· File necessary paperwork
· Forward invoices to appropriate associate or manager for payment authorization
· Match invoices to properly approved purchase orders and receiving documents
· Prepare invoices for payment
· Obtain proper authorization when required
· Notify purchasing and/or receiving about major variances
· Assign codes to invoices
· Prepare Accounts Payable checks. Print all Accounts Payable reports and maintains all Accounts Payable files within an acceptable time period
· Ability to handle a heavy volume of A/P work that will include data entry, filing, matching and batching of invoices, and maintaining relationships with the field operations team and vendors
· Follow all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
· Represent Pacific Ag Rentals in a professional manner at all times
· Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager and assist other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
Customer Service:
· Handle vendor/field operations calls timely and in a positive and professional manner
· Contact vendors regarding errors on invoices
· Answer all vendor inquiries professionally and positively

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar work environment with a proven track record of strong organizational skills, effective decision-making and excellent people skills. Previous experience in a paperless A/P environment a plus
Computer Skills:
· Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Language Skills:
- Ability to respond to basic inquiries and present information effectively to customers, co-workers, and management verbally and in writing
Mathematical Skills:
· Ability to apply math concepts to practical situations
Reasoning Ability:
- Strong reading skills
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

· Regular time is spent in the office
· Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
