The Accounts Payable Cooperate Assistant responsibilities include daily tracking and reporting of AP activity and processing of payments. They will also cross-train with Team Leads Coordinators & Supervisors to serve as an additional support resource for the entire AP team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Daily tracking, Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and distribute daily status reports
Log and monitor issues via ticketing system
Log and respond to invoice inquiries
Monitor status of assigned workflows
Payment Processing
Generate checks and verify check runs
Generate ACH payments
Team Support
Create and distribute monthly calendars
Create and maintain department phone list
Order department supplies
Create & maintain knowledge base with FAQ and procedures
Leadership Team Support
Cross train with team leads, coordinators & supervisors and back up as necessary
Document new processes and procedures
Special Projects
Participate in special projects as requested
Customer Service
Assist manager to ensure that the stores and departments receive excellent customer service.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Excellent customer service, organization and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Must be able to work independently and make decisions that are within the Accounts Payable procedure guidelines
Accounts Payable experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
