The person who ends up in this position will be working a 37.50 hour work week; and is responsible for processing large accounts payable check runs, helping to maintain accounting records, helping maintain contracts and reports with program participants, working with external auditors and vendors, and assisting with scholarship invoicing. Responsibilities:
- Enters accounting data (vendors, invoices, payments) into the financial data processing system
- Performs routine reconciliation of operations involving a variety of documents and accounts, which require cross-referencing between accounts
- Assist other Accounts Payable staff with void & reissue inquiries inclusive of stop payments and yearly 1099 processing
- Verifies program participants accounts by reconciling monthly statements
- Processing of large accounts payable runs related to grants/pass through dollars
- Importing and exporting of data, contract maintenance, and promptly resolve payment issues/discrepancies
- Contributes to accounting and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results
- Protects organization value by keeping information confidential, cautioning others about potential breaches.
- Improves accounts payable job knowledge by attending training sessions
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

- Associate??? Degree in Accounting or related field OR relevant job experience
