We are seeking a skilled and experienced Taxidermist to join our team. As a Taxidermist, you will be responsible for preserving and mounting animal specimens to create lifelike displays. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your artistic talent and passion for wildlife in a rewarding career.
```Responsibilities```
- Taxidermy, we specialize in large mammals, we are contracted to receive animals from around the globe.
- Create lifelike poses and positions for mounted animals
- Sculpt and shape forms to accurately represent the anatomy of different species
- Understand and be capable of some finish work and habitat work.
- Utilize tools and equipment such as scalpels, knives, saws, and chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to understand their specific requests and preferences
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Taxidermist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of animal anatomy
- Proficient in altering, shaping, and positioning animal forms
- Strong attention to detail and artistic ability
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with the team effectively

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $60.00 per hour
