New Visions directly manages a network of 9 charter high schools across the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.

Who You Are

You’re looking to enter the accounting field with a mission-driven organization. You are extremely detail-oriented and can effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time. This role requires:

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in Accounting preferred
• Self-motivator and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Abila, Nexus Payables, and Google Sheets is a plus

What You’ll Do

You will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting and clerical tasks, including: ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, maintaining vendor/customer relationships, monthly reporting, General Ledger monitoring, and analysis. You will use Excel and other Finance systems to keep organized and work in a fast-paced Accounting team.

Pay: $38,573.00 - $54,003.00 per year
