Accounting Specialist

Anchor Talent has partnered with a financial organization in downtown Austin to recruit an Accounting Specialist. This role can be direct hire or contract to hire and will be hybrid following the initial training. Parking is provided for downtown office location.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, review, and reconcile various general ledger accounts for parent and related entities
• Assist with monthly financial reporting
• Reconcile multiple state sales tax accounts
• Manage all sales tax exemption requests
• Daily reconciliation of credit card transactions
• Oversee customer portal set-up, requests and inquires
• Perform tasks related to Unclaimed Properties filing for various states
• Assist in journal entries and management of the general ledger

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Account required Bachelors preferred
• Experience with MS Dynamics and Zuora preferred
• Strong Excel skills (V-lookups and pivot tables a must)
• Experience with multi-state sales tax and sales tax exemption preferred

• Compensation: $23.00 - $26.50 hourly
