Summary of Position:
New West Designs, Inc. is looking to hire a highly motivated individual for the Accounting Department. This non-exempt position is responsible for all accounting tasks, receivables, payable, administrative support, and related accounting functions:
We are a floor covering, wall tile, and window covering company located in Lake Forest, CA. We work with Independent Homebuilders, some Commercial, and homeowners.
Requirements
- Set up new customers
- Process accounts payable transactions
- Prepares and applies bank deposits
- Reconciles and adjust accounts appropriately
- Critical thinker with good situational awareness, and problem solver.
- Reconciles with month-end and year-end closing
- Prepares regular periodic and special accounting reports
- Must be self-motivated with good organizational skills
- Requires good communication and time management skills
- Accept assignments that require additional training
- Build strong and trusting business relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel,
- Open to learning new software programs
- Flexible and willing to assist in other areas of accounting that may require additional help.
- Must conduct oneself professionally both in the workplace and the community
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
