MEB Affordable is seeking a full time Bookkeeperto join our team in a hybrid at home and office position. This role is perfect for the individual who is detail driven and has great analytical and communication skills.
This position is assigned a portfolio of multiple Multifamily Affordable Housing Properties. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly review of residential reports
- General accounting of monthly closing entries and other reporting functions
- Monthly bank reconciliations, with weekly verification of deposits
- Maintains General Ledger
- Compilation of Client Financial Report Packages
- Communication with Clients, Asset Directors, and Property Managers.
- Bank Transfers/Wires/ACHs
- Quarterly Reporting to Lenders and Clients

You Have:
- 2 years of related work experience
- Experienced with GAAP
- Yardi Voyager experience is a plus
- Ability to meet strict deadlines is a must
- Good problem solving and time management skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proven teamwork capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
