MEB Affordable is seeking a full time Bookkeeperto join our team in a hybrid at home and office position. This role is perfect for the individual who is detail driven and has great analytical and communication skills.

This position is assigned a portfolio of multiple Multifamily Affordable Housing Properties. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monthly review of residential reports
• General accounting of monthly closing entries and other reporting functions
• Monthly bank reconciliations, with weekly verification of deposits
• Maintains General Ledger
• Compilation of Client Financial Report Packages
• Communication with Clients, Asset Directors, and Property Managers.
• Bank Transfers/Wires/ACHs
• Quarterly Reporting to Lenders and Clients

You Have:

• 2 years of related work experience
• Experienced with GAAP
• Yardi Voyager experience is a plus
• Ability to meet strict deadlines is a must
• Good problem solving and time management skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proven teamwork capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
