Job description
Duties:
- Prepare and create sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation and catering orders
- Assist in menu planning and development of new sushi dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any ingredient needs to management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and knife skills
- Strong understanding of culinary principles and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
