POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work with primary stakeholders, consultants, and vendor support to define, implement and maintain application configurations, automated business processes, and applications integrations
- Administer configuration tasks related to periodic HRIS events, such as Open Enrollment, year-end activities, and new initiatives/projects
- Work with management and stakeholders to design and maintain all HRIS security roles
- Work with appropriate teams to ensure the proper setup of HRIS user accounts
- Assist subject matter experts and end users to develop and maintain reports
- Assist in compliance activities, including gathering required data and maintaining internal data integrity
- Work with subject matter experts, primary stakeholders, and corporate training department to develop and deliver training to end users
- Maintain HRIS environment, including coordination of system upgrades and testing
- Work with Business Technology and other appropriate staff to resolve technical issues
- Work with technical service desk to deliver support to all users
- Provide direct functional support to primary stakeholders
- Monitor application integrations and coordinate troubleshooting as needed
- Monitor automated business processes and intervene when necessary
- Recommend changes to application and security configuration, business processes, integrations, and reports
- Remote flexible; however, must be willing to travel as needed
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with HR database administration
- Workday experience in a related capacity is required
- High level of literacy in HRIS concepts
- Adept at understanding data and security models, including data relationships
- General knowledge of HR, Payroll and Benefits business processes
- Demonstrates continued acceptance and adaptation to change
- Strong critical thinking ability
- Uses resources effectively and efficiently while orchestrating multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
- Learns quickly when facing new problems; enjoys challenges; quickly understands underlying structure of issues and/or tasks
- Excellent English verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively within a team; can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with internal and external groups, including prioritization of issues and needs
- Effective problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills; can see underlying or hidden problems and patterns
