As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for administering and supporting Workday HCM and/or other systems used by HR business stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate existing systems and processes, and recommend system enhancements or new solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations, working closely with business, IT, and third-party stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a deep understanding of both business and technology are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- In support of Workday and/or other systems, lead the administration, design, testing and implementation of system setups, configurations, and enhancements.
- Administer system security, configurations, data maintenance, software updates and integrations with other systems.
- Perform system analysis to troubleshoot and resolve system defects/issues in support of users at all levels within the company.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers as the primary contact to report issues, solicit support, provide feedback, and maintain system hygiene.
- Assess system configurations, enhancements, and resolutions for technical and business suitability.
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures to sustain knowledge sharing, admin/user training, and operational support.
- In support of IT implementation and integration projects, bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by contributing to requirements gathering, systems design, feasibility analysis, prototyping/modeling, system testing and quality assurance, system documentation and system cut-over planning.
- Translate business and functional requirements into actionable technical design specifications and system configurations.
- Contribute to end-to-end systems implementation planning including estimation, project management, issue management, communication, and change management.
- Track and monitor service requests, support incidents, enhancements, and project tasks in appropriate systems (e.g., JIRA).
- Perform all activities in accordance with IT risk compliance and change management policies to ensure system changes and data handling comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations.
- Strong technical aptitude and solid understanding of information technology, including software development methodologies, technical specifications, system architecture, system integration, and overall system analysis and design.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience.
- 2 to 3 years experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role responsible for implementing and supporting Workday HCM or an equivalent HR enterprise system such as, Oracle HCM Cloud, SAP Success Factors, ADP Workforce Now, UKG Kronos, Peoplesoft, etc.
- Experience supporting HR business partners and end users in delivery of IT projects and system support.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Experience in technical design & solutioning, testing & quality assurance, system administration & maintenance and end user support.
- Proficient in using office productivity tools (Office 365 preferred), project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent
Preferred
- Hands-on experience in implementing and/or supporting Workday HCM including Advance Compensation, Absence, Talent & Performance and Recuriting modules.
- Workday HCM certification and/or formal HR system training completion.
- Experience in implementing and/or supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Proficient in data analytics and reporting. Experience with Workday People Analytics.
- Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Familiarity with data privacy & security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
