Video & Photo Media Specialist
The Video & Photo Media Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the creation and management of digital content, promoting our diverse range of products and services with expertise and enthusiasm. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing Director and Content Specialist on various campaigns and initiatives that promote our brands and offerings. Our premium brands encompass seven locations across two states boasting, two dealerships, two watersport pro shops, a boat club, and a waterfront restaurant.
As a Video & Photo Media Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our brand and marketing initiatives, overseeing the production of engaging multimedia content across various platforms. From maintaining our digital media libraries and managing photography equipment to producing media for our Digital Price Signs, Digital Showroom Billboards, and other Point of Sale platforms, your work will be integral to our marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the marketing department in managing brand and marketing initiatives.
- Overseeing video and photo content creation across various media, including Reels, YouTube Videos, Social Media Photography, and Paid Ad Videos.
- Managing, organizing, and publishing inventory photos and videos on platforms such as DealerSpike, Salesforce, OneDrive, and Boattrader.com.
- Maintaining and updating visual media content on our website, landing pages, social and email campaigns,
- Additional duties include assisting the marketing team with event coordination.
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Excellent computer literacy and proficiency with editing software such as Lightroom and camera equipment.
- A degree in Media, Marketing, PR, or Business or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in an office-based work environment and expert knowledge of digital media.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, creative flair, and thorough attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with strong project management capabilities.
- Comfort multitasking in a deadline-driven environment and an outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.
- Ability to spot emerging trends and familiarity with social media and video marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- 1-3 years experience in photography/videography or equivalent education
- Associate or degree in marketing, business, or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premier Pro CC)
- Misc Department Tech Stack: Microsoft Suite, HubSpot, Canva, Jotform, Wix, DealerSpike, Salesforce
