Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Content and Social Media Specialist will shape Aiphone’s online presence through the creation of high-quality content for various digital channels. In addition to content creation, this position will be tasked with managing our Social Media accounts, maintaining email campaign strategy, and monitoring engagement metrics to help build Marketing strategy and reinforce our brand identity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, engaging content for our website, blog, Social Media platforms, and other digital channels.
  • Manage and grow our presence on Social Media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Develop and execute Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership.
  • Keep up to date with Social Media and industry trends and interact with the target audience through engaging Content and timely responses.
  • Manage and execute email marketing efforts, including list segmentation and integration with ticketing platforms, with a focus on Aiphone events.
  • Conduct pre-deployment and A-B testing to ensure the effectiveness of email campaigns.
  • Monitor email metrics and track performance statistics to provide insightful analysis and recommendations for campaign enhancement.

Additional Responsibilities include the following.

  • Monitor and update email contacts, addressing returned mail, email bounce backs, and managing contact subscription preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate creative and relevant topic ideas for blogs, Social Media posts, and overarching marketing campaigns.

Inter-relationship Relationship of position with internal, lateral and external groups.

Interacts with co-workers as a team member. Works with team leads and manager to provide assistance and services to other departments within the company. Interacts with suppliers and manufacturers.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and Social Media management.
  • Knowledge of using Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills required. Must have strong problem-solving skills and communicate persuasively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing required. Communicates clearly with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) with knowledge of standard CRM Database package and other software programs used within the company.
  • Able to lead a team, meeting or exceeding company's quality and quantity goals.
  • Steady paced, able to work consistently with many distractions. Must be able to work within a team and independently. Must be able to maintain an organized schedule with competing priorities, executing plans within scheduled deadlines.
  • Acts in ethical and professional manner at all times with colleagues, customers, and vendors, representing the highest standards of Aiphone management behavior.
  • Management skills, including a proactive outlook towards continuous department improvements, good organizational skills, ability to deal fairly and patiently with employee issues, and the ability to motivate employees in their daily work and encourage their professional growth.
