Job Description
We are a woman-owned, carbon neutral chocolate company in search of a creative, strategic, and social-obsessed Social Media individual to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate has a great sense of humor, loves chocolate, knows every Social Media trend almost before they happen, and is passionate about building an immersive and welcoming online presence.
Duties Include:
- Set social strategy for our two brands across all relevant platforms; thinking creatively about the new ways to tell our story and reach new consumers.
- Conceive of, present, and develop creative seasonal campaigns for all social platforms to connect with our follower base and increase engagement.
- Maintain Social Media calendars for both brands, utilizing best practices for posting.
- Write irresistible social copy that is on-brand, clever, and brimming with personality and humor.
- Create Social Media design assets using Canva or similar i.e. memes and story slides.
- Create attention-grabbing Social Media ads for Instagram and TikTok.
- Work with Video Content Creator in concepting video content for Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, etc.
- Trend forecasting: anticipate and identify new trends on social to stay ahead of our competition.
- Lead and coordinate influencer partnerships, brand ambassador program, brand partnerships, and social giveaways.
- Assist with creative ideas for content, digital campaigns, and general marketing brainstorms.
- Work with creative team to request social content needs from external content creators.
- Grow follower base and engagement rates across social platforms
- Analyze and report on key metrics on a quarterly/seasonal basis.
- Attend company events to drive excitement, post live coverage, and support photography needs.
- Support general marketing needs
Requirements
- 2+ years experience running Social Media accounts professionally; preferably in the food or CPG industry
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a brand’s voice and write clear, engaging, funny copy
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook (including paid ads)
- Experience with Social Media scheduler i.e. Later
- Basic Graphic Design experience (i.e. Canva)
Reports to the Director of Marketing Communications
Hybrid Position, in office Tuesdays & Wednesdays
