MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Sponsorship Consulting to join our team. Reporting into the VP, Group Director, you will play an important role as a client relationship manager and help drive partnership strategy, activation, and measurement. We offer a hybrid work environment ( 2-3 days in the office), and the priority is for this position to sit in our Cincinnati, OH location.

You will be the trusted advisor in providing recommendations, manage all resources to ensure our client's marketing needs are met, while leading and monitoring the daily activities, Identify new business building insights and opportunities. Ensure you are motivating their team and working with other departments to develop strategies to build our client's business.

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of consumer packaged goods marketing and distribution channels
• Experience working in the retail vertical and selling in of sports marketing programs.
• In-depth knowledge of and ability to navigate the NFL, NFL teams and NFL players.
• Develop client solutions and present to the most senior levels and client organizations.
• Establish high-level relationships with client leaders and grow revenue through astute knowledge of cross-selling organizational capabilities.
• Write and develop POV documents to client-ready status.
• 25% travel is required.

• 10+ years experience in sponsorship strategy, account management and activation with a significant portion of that experience in the NFL
• 5-7 years of experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry and a experience sell to retail partners.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and knowledge with the full marketing mix - social media, content marketing, influencer approaches, media and marketing promotions.
• 25% travel is required.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000-$174,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
