Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Immersive Technology at Otherworld, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technological vision and strategy for our immersive experiences. You will lead a talented team of developers and engineers, overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge projection mapping, LED installations, and interactive gaming systems. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and leadership skills to spearhead innovation in the immersive entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in the areas of projection mapping, LED technology, and game development. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain Otherworld's competitive edge.

Team Management: Build a network of third-party developers, engineers, and designers. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning to inspire excellence and drive results.

Projection Mapping & LED Installations: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge projection mapping and LED installations for immersive experiences. Ensure seamless integration of visual effects and interactive elements to create captivating environments.

Game Development: Lead the development and deployment of Immersive gaming experiences using Unity3D or similar software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and execute interactive gameplay mechanics and user interfaces.

Technical Architecture: Define and architect scalable, robust, and innovative technical solutions for immersive entertainment experiences. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize performance, reliability, and user experience.

Project Management: Drive the execution of multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocations to effectively manage project scope and deliverables.

Collaboration & Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors, content creators, and industry stakeholders to explore new opportunities and drive business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing gaming technology strategy and execution.
• Extensive experience with projection mapping technologies, LED installations, and interactive gaming systems.
• Familiar with TouchDesigner, Unity3D and/or similar software, with a strong portfolio showcasing immersive experiences and interactive gameplay.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architectural principles, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and creative exploration.
