As a Vice President, Audit & Exam Manager within Chase Travel, you will report to the Head of Chase Travel Business Integration & Operations Support. Your focus will be on designing and implementing the strategic framework to support all audit and exam management activities. This includes enabling transparency in exam schedules and status, developing metrics and management reporting, managing related projects and initiatives, developing response content, and improving content delivery. You will communicate program overviews via presentations and prepare stakeholders for executive and regulatory meetings. Your role will also involve designing and implementing an internal Self-Inspection framework for proactive Risk and Controls management to ensure an always Audit Ready Business and Operating Model. This will require extensive engagement with all Business, Product, Operations/Servicing, Marketing, PMO and other teams across Chase Travel.
Job responsibilities:
- Design a strategic framework to support all exam management and self-inspection activities
- Establish related objectives and milestones. Execute and monitor progress.
- Support exam related requests for information by working with other team members to meet target timelines for all deliverables.
- Become a Chase Travel Subject matter expert with the ability to deliver clear, concise and accurate responses to all inquiries, including regulatory (RFI) inquiries.
- Present on Program framework as needed.
- Act as the point of contact for the management and coordination of RFIs, exam support and related meetings.
- Prepare Power Point presentations that includes key updates regarding active and planned regulatory engagement and an inventory/ summary of activities.
- Develop and deliver management reporting
- Provide strategic advice and regular updates to Chase Travel Senior leadership team regarding the matters being handled, including, but not limited to, the timely escalation and resolution of potential issues.
- Communicate extensively (verbal and written) and develop effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Establish and develop effective relationships within the following functional stakeholder groups; Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operational Risk, Controls, Internal Audit, relevant Line of Business (LOB) contacts.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring that information provided is accurate, complete and to the highest standard.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Client service skills –must demonstrate the judgment and ability to closely partner with and advise line managers and other stakeholders on regulatory interactions.
- Ability to learn new areas while supporting them.
- Strong analytical skills, solid judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex business issues.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams involving different partners and groups.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including by demonstrating excellent time management and planning skills.
- A relationship builder with the ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulators and with business and functional partners at the firm.
- Strong technical skills – including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
