Vice President of Operations, Burlington County, IDD
As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Vice President of Operations will oversee and ensure the agency has the proper operational controls, administrative, and reporting procedures in all settings in Burlington County. The Vice President will report to the COO and CEO.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management.
- Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the operations of residential and day habilitation services.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and regulations with the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Licensing and Medicaid.
- Responsible for quality assurance in operations and personnel.
- Provides for and ensures participants and employees have a safe work environment.
- Represents the agency in all settings.
- Responsible for organizational evaluation in the assigned area, strategic planning and qualitative and quantitative evaluation of residential and day habilitation programs and services.
- Evaluate, develop and review company policies and procedures to address any changes to agency operations to ensure quality services and compliance with all regulations.
- Manage and coordinate activities of all Directors, Managers, Coordinators and staff.
- Responsible for HR functions
- Responsible for certifications, Recertifications, new licenses and renewal of Programs
- Responsible for implementation of electronic health records
- Responsible for compliance with all state/DDD regulations
- Responsible for compliance with all required training for staff
- Responsible to meet all targeted goals- census- revenue.
- Responsible for managing overtime hours.
- Meet targeted goals for billable days/hours
- Lead staff recruitment, develop and maintain positive retention strategies.
- Continually work to enhance staff and program developments, quality assurance systems, and preparations for licensing and accreditation.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines for new developments.
- Assist in marketing, public relations and community education activities.
- Establishing policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the agency in the assigned areas.
- Serving as FOCII’s primary spokesperson for Burlington county to the organization’s constituents, the media and the general public.
- Supervise, collaborate with organization staff.
- Strategic planning and implementation.
- Oversee marketing and other communications efforts.
- Have strong knowledge and skills in a wide variety of areas in the industry (human services- IDD), and the current environment and changes (Fee for Service, DDD, licensing regulations, political, social, economic, and technological).
- Other duties as assigned by the COO and CEO.
