The Vice President of Clinical Operations is a vital and key member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization’s 20 health center locations. As such, this individual will provide expertise and strategies to ensure high-quality patient care is carried out seamlessly, consistently and effectively across the organization. She/he will collaborate with clinical, finance and QI leadership to design and deliver the highest quality patient experience consistent with HSO’s mission, values, and strategic direction. The Vice President of Clinical Operations has responsibility for measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and procedures while working with respective team members to develop and implement necessary changes. This person will play a key role in contributing to the ongoing strategic growth of HSO and for implanting and operationalizing a variety of initiatives. Through emphasis on quality, efficiency and best practices, the Vice President of Clinical Operations will ensure that clinical services are delivered with a best-in-class culture by an accountable, effective operations organization. This position reports directly to the CEO and has seven direct reports including: Sr. Director Operations (2x); Sr. Director, Practice Optimization; Director, Care Management; Director, Facilities; Director, Mobile Health; and Manager, Call Center.
Education and Experience Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership roles with current management level positions (Director or above).
Proven leadership experience in a non-profit or for-profit healthcare setting.
Prior ambulatory or clinic operations experience is most ideal and highly desired. Prior experience in an FQHC setting will be seen favorably.
