As we embark on our next phase of growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Financial Planning to join our executive team.
The VP, Financial Planning role at Gasser Chair primary mission is to serve as the strategic architect of our financial future, including developing and executing comprehensive financial plans that align with the company's overarching objectives and aspirations. This role is not only to forecast and manage the organization's financial resources, but also to inspire a culture of financial stewardship and excellence across the organization.
Specific Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities of this position will include, but will not be limited to:
- Develop and implement the overall Financial Planning strategy aligned with Gasser Chair's business goals and objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and regularly update forecasts based on market trends, business performance, and other relevant factors.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into key business drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure alignment between Financial Planning and overall business strategies
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and presentations to executive leadership, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Financial Planning processes.
Physical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience in Financial Planning, analysis, and strategy development.

- Skilled in collaborating with all levels of management, officers, and stakeholders, including working closely with the CEO, President, and Executive Team to set and execute short and long-term strategic financial plans and goals.
- Possesses advanced analytical capabilities, including proficiency in financial modeling, data management, and assessment techniques to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance.
- Demonstrates expertise in cost control strategies, adept at identifying efficiencies and implementing measures to optimize resource allocation and maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Physical Requirements
The VP, Financial Planning role at Gasser Chair is expected to perform job duties that involve the ability to speak fluent English, sitting for extended periods, working at a computer workstation. Travel may be necessary on occasion. This may involve long periods of sitting during flights or ground transportation. Proficient manual dexterity is essential for tasks such as typing, handling documents, and operating electronic devices.
