The mission of the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is to educate, train, and inspire men and women to become leaders of character, motivated to lead the United States Air and Space Forces in service to our nation. The Registrar’s Office is the focal point for all academic efforts at the Academy and tracks all cadet qualifications to ensure graduation requirements are met.
Position Responsibilities:
Aleut is searching for an enthusiastic and quick learning Administrative Assistant to support a variety of activities in the USAFA Registrar’s Office. This is a new contract role that is anticipated to begin on 6 Mar 2024.
The scope of work will include:
- On-site, general administrative support to the Registrar
- Registrar records management and organization support
- Correspondence development
- Digital and non-digital file operations and maintenance
- Scanning and copying
- Document and presentation preparation and dissemination
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of general administrative experience in correspondence, digital and non-digital records management, packet and presentation preparation and dissemination
- Excellent MS Office software expertise
- Ability to communicate well both written (clear, concise, well organized) and verbally (express clearly and succinctly) in English
- Excellent team building skills
- Knowledge of record management best practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions SIS platform and/or Infosilem Scheduling, or similar software, is desired
- Experience working in a military environment is a plus
Education:
- High school degree is required. Associates degree preferred.
Salary: $19/hour to $20/hour
