Job Summary:
: The Total Rewards Coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills.They should also have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of the WMCHealth Network system and assists with employee inquiries.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee phone calls, requests and questions regarding employee benefits and wellness.
- Schedules meetings and maintains calendars as requested by management.
- Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Processes required documents through payroll and providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Partners with other team members to assist with HR projects, as needed.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Coordinates internally with multiple departments to complete projects as necessary.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Establishes priorities and coordinates work activities to meet deadlines.
- Audits and reconciles benefit plan invoices and eligibility files and processes monthly invoices for payment.
- Communicates with representatives from insurance companies to discuss benefits and claim issues.
- Responds to employee complaints or problems and performs diligent research and review on claim issues for participants.
- Provides necessary data concerning enrollments, terminations, leaves without payment, and Medicare reimbursement claims as required.
- Meets with new hires for benefit orientation daily and as needed.
- Assists in coordination of annual enrollment for plan participants ensuring all changes are processed correctly.
- Assists in the annual change of health benefit option open enrollment campaign and ensures that all appropriate changes in enrollment status are recorded and processed accurately.
- Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
- Participates in and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Special projects as assigned.
Experience:
1 year performing general office/clerical experience in an office setting preferred.
Education:
Associates Degree Required.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
