Essential Job Duties:The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the content developers and
subject matter experts to develop face-to-face food safety modules, design learning activities
and assessments, conduct quality assurance checks upon module completion. The employee
will also develop manuals and written materials for various audiences within the food industry
and revise modules upon faculty review. The hire will also complete other project-related duties
as assigned, as well as instill accessibility into learning modules (maintain compliance with
ADA and Section 508 requirements)

- B.S. Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience designing, developing, and managing course materials and instructional content for a variety of learning management systems (LMS) (i.e., Moodle) and 2+ years’ experience using Storyline or other authoring and development software
- Proficient in instructional technology
- Ability to design and structure content in multiple formats to engage learners
- Team-focused, detail-oriented, self-starter, problem solver, independent, and organized
- Great communicator with visual, verbal, and written communication
- Familiarity with project management software
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Google Suite, etc.)
- Experience creating learning materials that incorporate best practices for accessibility
