Accounting Manager (Food Industry)
Up to $130,000 to start plus great benefits and annual bonus
After 90-days, you may have the possibility to transition to a hybrid WFH schedule
JobGiraffe's client family owned & operated establishment with 10 locations in the manufacturing, distribution, restaurant and real estate industries
As Accounting Manager, you will:
- Manage daily operations in the Accounting Department
- Provide leadership, guidance, direction and oversight to Department Personnel
- Allocate labor according to business needs
- Oversee A/R and A/P processes
- Manage cost accounting for manufacturing facilities
- Manage accounting for fixed assets across all locations
- Facilitate month-end close and year end close processes
- Prepare financial statements
- Reconcile balance sheets
- Collaborate with leadership teams on budgeting processes
- Prepare tax filings in collaboration with external audit and tax teams
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 10 years of Accounting experience
- Supervisory experience (5+ Staff)
- Related experience from a manufacturer and/or distributor of products
- A Bachelor's Degree
Pluses:
