Senior Instructional Systems Designer

This position is responsible for leading the Firm’s efforts in designing and publishing engaging, interactive and innovative learning solutions that meets Firm needs. Works closely with subject matter experts utilizing a consultative approach. Develop instructional design standards, strategies, and solutions that leverage key learning technologies and authoring tools. Works closely with internal Talent Development team to maintain the internal program catalog. Responsibilities include instructional design, project management, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.

In this role you will:

• Design and collaborate in developing learning resources through various formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and animation technologies to support project requirements.
• Collaborate on process improvements and revision of instructional design standards and templates used by the Instructional Design CoE.
• Validate learning solutions through implementation of objectives and needs analysis that promote learning and evaluate product effectiveness.
• Consult with stakeholders on learning technologies and methodologies for learning delivery to determine the best solution based on audience, quality, industry standards, and if applicable, CPE accreditation.
• Review course evaluations to ensure continuous improvement of training materials and program.
• Convert instructor-led classes into dynamic and engaging on demand learning experiences.
• Maintain well-organized project documentation and folders with all course assets.
• Conduct quality assurance testing of courses prior to release including testing courses in the LMS.
• Mentor and coach less experienced Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to achieve desired results.
• Assist in training and onboarding newly hired ISDs.
• Research and implement new learning strategies that improve learner experience and effectiveness and promote learning transfer.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design (or related) with at least 5 years of experience. Master’s or higher education highly preferred
• Proven verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization and key stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organization skills
• Works well independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
• Proficiency in a variety of learning technologies: Camtasia, SnagIt, Articulate 360, Vyond, and Conferences i/o.
• General understanding of SCORM and Learning Management Systems.
• Knowledge of NASBA Standards preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $81,000 - $89,000. Final offers will consider experience, location, and budget.
