Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for an Instructional Designer to join the corporate Training team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and developing learning materials for in-person, virtual, and blended learning environments based on your knowledge of best practices and adult learning theory. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical, analytical, and project management skills to partner with internal and external clients to develop engaging and relevant content.
- Design and develop course content such as presentations, learning activities, assignments, assessments, etc
- Create virtual learning content such as eLearning courses and instructor-led courses
- Develop instructor lesson plans, rubrics, and other teaching tools
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content
- Analyze, update, and refine existing content
- Train instructors and employees in how to use learning technologies
- Provide consultative advice to colleagues about training and learning best practices
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 2+ years with teaching or training experience
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Travel up to 10-15%
