What you will do:

Join our dynamic team at eXp Realty as an Instructional Designer for eXp University! In this exciting position, you will have the chance to bring your creativity to the forefront as you contribute to the analysis, design, and development of engaging learning environments that inspire growth and success. As a vital member of our esteemed training team, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals, including our Training Magazine Hall of Fame Chief Learning Officer, to explore innovative approaches in training and development. Your role will involve crafting live and e-learning training sessions that not only boost agent productivity but also foster a sense of community within our vibrant eXp Realty family.
How you will make an impact:

  • Research, design, and create training materials following the best practices of top performers, supporting real estate entrepreneurs in growing their businesses.
  • Collaborate with various eXp Realty departments to contribute to training strategies at local, national, and global levels.
  • Design engaging and dynamic learning experiences for real-life, virtual, and online platforms, ensuring an immersive journey of knowledge and growth.
  • Develop training materials for aspiring eXp University Instructors, supporting the growth of our training team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to co-create captivating course content that sparks curiosity and promotes knowledge acquisition.
  • Refresh existing online content by analyzing, updating, and refining it, ensuring it remains current, relevant, and appealing to learners.
  • Stay updated on best practices in instructional design, continually seeking ways to enhance learning experiences.
  • Evaluate training proposals to identify new opportunities for development and improvement.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in the real estate industry and eXp Realty to communicate effectively and support training initiatives.
  • Hone your copywriting skills, crafting and reviewing compelling and persuasive content.
  • Review all University content to uphold the highest standards of quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Other Accountabilities as Assigned

How you will grab our attention:

Education:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
  • Teaching or administrator’s license a plus
  • Experience as a classroom instructor
  • Previous experience in instructional design
  • Real Estate License preferred

Experience:

  • 1-3 Years Instructional Design for sales training
  • Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Understanding of website design best practices
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with design platforms, such as InDesign, Canva, and Articulate
  • Familiarity with course management systems, such as Blackboard
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • Experience managing small teams
  • Proven experience in creating interactive training programs and presentation
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Strong background in various real estate technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to facilitate presentation to large audiences
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office/Google Suite, particularly Powerpoint and/or Google Slides
