- In-depth knowledge of SRIOV and DPDK design
- In-depth knowledge of RAN cell site inventory system and site specific data
- Expertise in 5G NR / 4G LTE RAN design, RAN performance, and RAN capacity
- Proficient in Open RAN, ORAN standard, and CaaS design
- Knowledge of Open RAN network security.
- Familiarity with CSP RAN management systems, including Cramer, Ato, IPAdmin systems, Harbor, GIT Hut, SMO, VNFM, NFSM, RAN provisioning systems, RAN SON systems, Splunk, Keysight, secure data repositories, security scanning, log applications, RAN lab test management tools, RAN inventory systems, alarm systems, and mobility services performance systems.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- More than 5 years RAN cell site deployment experience
- In-depth knowledge of 3GPP, NFV, Network Slicing and ORAN
- Domain certifications such as eTOM, TMForum, TOGAF, ITIL would be an added advantage.
- Working experience related to CaaS in a CSP environment is a plus
The responsibilities will include the following:
- Collaborate with the Telco Cloud Integration (CST) team to deliver CST to a CSP
- Collaborate with CSP RAN engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) from various vendors to integrate the design for workload software (RAN/Core/Edge), CaaS, and hardware, and validate in the lab.
- After lab validation, RAN SA and other SMEs from vendors jointly conduct a test to validate and ensure that the solution meets all CSP's acceptance criteria. Work with CSP technical authority needed to sign off on blueprint, scenarios, and policies.
- Based on the lab-proven solution, with CSP’s approval, setup Dell’s automation platform so customer’s PreStage center can deliver pre-integrated servers to CSP’s warehouse.
- Design parameters in CSP RAN deployment plan for configuration file auto-assembling purpose.
Additional Responsibilities: - Host Joint Design workshop to collect requirements from CSP RAN Solution Architects
- Collaborate with CSP RAN Solution Architects to set the scope of project.
- Deliver High Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
- Design blueprints and validate dimensioning design related Dell telco servers, XR11 or R750 or XR8620t or R760 with target CSP systems.
- Design site specific data with CSP RAN Solution Architects and CSP RAN Inventory system architect.
- Support Dell System Integration Solution Architects and CSP RAN Solution Architects to set the scope of system integration solution for secure data transfer between Dell repositories and CSP repositories.
- Support Dell System Integration Solution Architect and Dell Program Manager in estimations and services sales proposal.
- Engage with CSP System Architects, RAN vendor architects, CaaS vendor architects, and Dell Lab Test Engineers to contribute to full stack site configuration design in CSP lab.
- Participate in full stack ORAN system integrated solution design.
- Perform E2E lab validation as per the acceptance KPIs/acceptance criteria.
- Setup scenarios, policies, and profiles, in Dell’s automation platform based on CSP approved blueprints and site configurations
- Ensure blueprint assembling and configuration data files assembling are accurate and successful in Dell’s automation platform for accurate server configuration services at Dell Pre-Staging facility with Dell’s automation platform for efficient service delivery
- Derive from solution blueprints designed in CSP lab, or provided by the CSP, and create a new set of design artifacts in Dell's TSAP.
- Ensure that the auto-generated configuration files align precisely with the blueprints from the solution design.
