To support our growth initiative, we are seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Sales and Marketing. In this key leadership position, the incumbent will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on lucrative business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving the continuous expansion of oXya’s client base.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the overall business development strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Utilize market insights to inform the development of targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring brand viability and market penetration.
  • Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new clients by establishing and nurturing strong relationships and key decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery of services.
  • Drive revenue growth through the identification of new business opportunities and the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales and negotiation strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide insights on market dynamics to inform product/service enhancements and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Technology, to ensure a seamless integration of business development efforts with overall company operations.

PROJECT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives and projects related to business development.
  • Ensure effective project management, timely delivery, and successful implementation of key business projects.
  • Drive and support organizational change initiatives related to business development, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company goals.

COMMUNICATION/PRESENCE

  • Effectively communicate business development strategies, goals, and outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance oXya’s visibility and market presence.
  • Exhibit strong leadership presence both internally and externally, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the IT services and consulting landscape, with a demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in dynamic, rapidly evolving industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging industry disruptions, enabling informed decision-making and strategic positioning.
  • Extensive experience in negotiating and closing complex, high-value deals, showcasing a strong acumen for deal structuring, pricing, and contract negations.
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, result-driven environment, with a focus on meeting and exceeding challenging business development targets.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the capability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in business development, ensuring a forward-looking approach to staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to staying abreast of industry best practices, regulations, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of compliance and integrity within the business development function.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
