Position Overview:
Under direct supervision, uses strong writing and technical communication skills to create product information deliverables that support the installation and use of Client products. In this role, you will work within a team-oriented environment to provide technical documentation for various Client products and technologies.
This position is the liaison between the technical engineering teams and our clients.
Key areas this position will focus on are requirements definition, systems analysis, project coordination, usability and technical documentation.
Under supervision, performs complex, product information assignments such as writing product information design specifications, creating, revising, and reviewing product documentation, developing online product help and release documentation.
Assists in designing and conducting product information test plans.
You will report to the US Information Development Engineering Manager, who is located in Blue Bell, PA.
You will also work with Information Development Project Managers on various project assignments.
Responsibilities:
Apply engineering and technical communication methods and technologies to design, develop, evaluate, test and support information about computer products.
Use tools such as Word, RoboHelp, and XML authoring environments (for example, Arbor Text Editor) to create Information Development deliverables for clients.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors of Technical Communication, English, or a similar discipline
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in writing client documentation for complex technology products
Technical Skills:
Strong writing skills
Experience in using Word and other writing and publishing tools is essential
Must have the ability to understand and describe how to use hardware and software

Strong team players with demonstrated strength in problem-solving
Self-starters able to learn and apply core skills in proprietary, Windows, or Open development environments
