ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process freight delivery
- Creates new displays sets end caps, stocks shelves, zone/face all isles
- Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
- Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
- Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
- Maintaining inventory in stockroom
- Prominently display promotional merchandise
- Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Collaboration skills
- Follow instructions
- Ability to multi-task
- Organizational skills
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
