Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our business, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Schedule is Monday-Friday/Saturday 7AM-1PM.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar for daycare, boarding, training and grooming departments
- Maintain customer vaccination records and update information as necessary
- Assist with filing and organizing documents
- Provide support to staff as needed

-Run dogs to and from departments/ lobby area
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred

-Dog breed knowledge and handling skills a must
- Proficiency in using electronic systems such as Gingr, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of pet industry terminology is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
