Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation: Prepare various income tax returns including 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065, among others, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Financial Review and Planning: Review financial statements prepared by the bookkeeping staff for accuracy and tax planning opportunities. Prepare monthly financial statements and backwork for new clients.
Consulting: Provide consulting services to small business clients on tax planning and strategies to optimize their tax positions.
Client Service: Invoice clients for services, monitor fees per client agreements, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients through proactive and professional communication.
Team Collaboration and Independence: Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to contributing to team goals.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions), Thomson Reuters products, and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.

Qualifications:
Credentials: Must possess an EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate and personal tax preparation is required.
Stability: Demonstrated stability in work history.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in general ledger management and financial statement preparation. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Professional Traits: Must be a self-starter, problem solver, and have high ethical standards. Should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently while being a team player.
