POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is accountable for providing general Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) support to ensure efficient and effective recruitment operations within the Composites Division. The TA Coordinator works closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists, HRBPs, Hiring Managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to facilitate various TA functions
DUTIES:
- Responsible for posting positions to Mattr’s Recruitment module (Success Factors)
- Maintain accuracy of postings to third party sites
- Act as a point of contact for candidate and client during the recruitment process.
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the Talent Acquisition Team, not limited to report generation, and data entry/analysis
- Maintain files as per the file retention policy
- Support hourly employee recruitment processes, including forwarding applications to Talent Acquisition team coordinate interviews as required, and schedule pre-employment candidate testing on an as needed basis
- Represent the best of Mattr to candidates; perform phone screens, schedule interviews, liaison between the candidate and hiring manager, conduct onboarding activities as required.
- Ensure the successful completion of new employee onboarding, including the necessary documentation and procedures. In collaboration with Onboarding Coordinator
- Point of contact for administrative concerns regarding TA-related inquiries, including policy, postings, scheduling, directing employees to Talent Acquisition Specialists or Manager, Talent Acquisition as appropriate for escalations or complex inquires
- Point of contact for recruitment related documentation and file maintenance

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school required, College Diploma in Human Resources or/and Business is preferred
- Minimum 2 yrs related recruitment experience in lieu of Diploma/Certificate
- Knowledge of HR legislation and legal implications as it relates to hiring
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a sense of urgency and a demonstrated ability to act upon deadlines
- Must have good verbal and interpersonal skills to present information in a clear, concise, persuasive, and logical manner, both orally and written.
- Experience with manufacturing processes would be an asset
