Who We're Looking For:
EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Engineer. In this critical role, you will provide advanced in-person and remote technology support to EmpiRx employees and contractors. This includes setup, configuration and troubleshooting laptop, mobile device hardware and software.

What You'll Do:
As a Support Engineer, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
- Provide white glove support deskside and remotely to technology users.
- Provide advanced support as a point of escalation for other team members.
- Identify areas of improvement and work with leadership to implement enhancements.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues effectively and timely.
- Support network devices and connectivity.
- Maintain user workstation wiring so that it is neat, organized.
- Participate in on-call rotation · Keep work and storage areas neat, clean, and well organized consistently.
- Be the onsite go-to person for technology support issues.
- Setup new user technology in a timely fashion.
- Perform new user onboard sessions.
- Provide user technology training as needed, e.g. How-To’s, Walkthroughs.
- Keep accurate IT equipment inventory records.
- Manage equipment inventory including building, deploying, reimaging, refreshing, and recycling of laptops.
- Partner with HR on supporting the new hire process.
- Act independently managing your own time and tasks effectively.
- Proactively problem solve issues that you identify independently of user requests.
- Define and execute best practices for supporting employees’ workstation needs.
- Constantly look for ways to improve a user’s technology experience.
- Document process and procedures to assist in performing daily tasks consistently.
- Utilize the ticketing system to record support requests and update timely and consistently.
- Track issues consistently and accurately utilizing a ticket tracking system.
What You Need:
- GED or equivalent and IT technical school or bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 5+ years supporting a Windows environment, including network support.
- Experience managing Office365/Azure AD.
- Proficient to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a windows environment.
- Windows 10, Office 365, Intune, Adobe Acrobat, MacOS, latest.
- Experience supporting a major hardware vendor’s product, e.g. Dell, Lenovo, or HP.
