In this role, you'll report to the Software Support Manager, and be primarily responsible for code level product support of our JavaScript web components, .NET SDKs and RESTful APIs offered by Accusoft Corporation.
A day in life includes being able to (other duties may be assigned):
- Debugging customer integrations of Accusoft products
- Writing sample code for Accusoft products
- Interacting with Accusoft clients via email, phone and chatting services
- Contribute to department resources, knowledge base and codebase
- A minimum of a half day per week of involvement with product group development tasks; mentoring provided by a Sr. Software Engineer
Work Schedule/Environment:
- This can be a work-from-home-based role in any of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee, and Washington.
- We offer a flexible work schedule.
- Employees can also work from our Tampa, FL, Office if they wish
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Computer Engineering degree or other technical field.
- 1-2 years of real industry experience in a software development role that involved working with external clients; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in JavaScript
- Minimum of 2 years' experience using the Visual Studio Environment
- Knowledge of ASP.NET and related technologies
- Demonstrated detailed problem solving ability
- Knowledge of the Unix OS
- Proven ability to work closely with other Engineers in a teamhin cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, 800-171 and/or ISO 27001.
Preferred Technical Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in digital imaging technology
- Experience using imaging components
- Experience using RESTful web services
- Experience using Node.js
- Experience using modern browser developer tools
- Experience working with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
- Prior work experience in a similar role
- Use of a source control revision control system
- Assesses own strengths and weaknesses
- Pursues training and development opportunities
- Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills
- Shares expertise with others
