JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Will provide technical support and troubleshooting for company's product and system prototypes.
* Will be responsible for assessing customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems.
* Technical responsibilities will include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.
* May be required to dive in and develop tech data in some scenarios
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and 6 or more years of related experience
* Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
* Strong communication and customer interface skills
* Must have a high level of business development
* Thorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems, specifically telemetry systems
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
* Ability to pass a Tier 1 investigation and obtain a Common Access Card (CaC) and line badge required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Working knowledge of operating military units
· Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
· Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
· Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures
· Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
· Practical knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
· Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
· Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
· Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
· Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
· Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization
