Excellent word processing and document formatting skills; Ability to develop basic spreadsheets; Ability to enter data and perform basic functions in a database; Ability to work in a computer network environment; Ability to operate common office machines. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or GED and one-year related experience and/or training. Strong computer literacy skills preferred. Experience with career tech programs and/or education-related experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Display professional attitude toward fellow workers, supervisors, students, and patrons at all times.Greet students, visitors, faculty, and staff and provide information and assistance as needed.Provide secretarial support to the Campus Director, Assistant Campus Director, Director of Student Services, Program Administrators, Financial Aid Officer, and Career Counselors including but not limited to preparing and processing correspondence, phone calls, filing, preparing reports, procurement of supplies for the office and for the break room, copying, faxing, and scheduling meetings & meeting rooms.Assist with switchboard duties as needed; greet/direct incoming visitors.Apply computer literacy skills across multiple platforms including Sonis, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and Google.Assist with student record keeping in Sonis including attendance, data entry, building courses, registering students for class, and creating and maintaining student files.Assist with the recruitment and enrollment of all full-time program students including but not limited to data collection, data entry, and creating and maintaining student files.Act as back for reporting student attendance and grades to sending schools, Director of Student Services, and Program Administrator.Maintains and monitors certified staff files including certification records and staff development records.Prepare required reports for sending schools and state and federal agencies.Provide assistance where needed in the Student Services department.Performs all other duties as assigned by the administration.
