As one of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s top contractors, ISS is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialistto support the Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering (SAE) office.
Where you will be: This role is fully remote.
What you will do:
- Support SAE strategic communication initiatives.
- Create communications materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create slide presentations that summarize and represent information and data in interesting and succinct ways for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Create graphics that can be leveraged for websites and presentations to represent data and condense details.
- Create storyboards, gain buy-in from stakeholders, and leverage for leadership presentations.
- Leverage images and graphics appropriately to convey messages.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent degree program
- Four (4) years of experience in communications
- Experience creating presentations for leadership
- Expertise in PPT, Google Slides, and Getty images
- A self-starter, team oriented attitude
- A strong interest and background in promoting ocean and coastal stewardship
- Bonus points: You are familiar with NOAA and/or NOS.
