Role: Sr. Grant Writer
Location: 100 West Anderson Street, Orlando, FL - 32801 (Hybrid)
Type: 4 weeks contract on W2 (90 to 120 hours temp work to meet April 30th deadline)
Job Details:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grant Writer to assist us in preparing a Technical Volume for a VTO grant application. This contractor will primarily focus on crafting a 30-page narrative, collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate and compelling content. The Technical Volume is a critical component of our grant application, and we require someone with a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to effectively communicate them to grant reviewers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather technical information and insights necessary for the grant narrative.
- Write, edit, and revise the Technical Volume according to the requirements outlined in the Funding Opportunity Announcement.
- Ensure that all content is clear, concise, and aligns with the goals and objectives of the grant application.
- Work closely with the project lead to incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.
- Adhere to deadlines and milestones to ensure the timely completion of the grant application.
Skills
Grant Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with team members to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.
Proposal Writing:
- Craft compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the guidelines and requirements of each funding opportunity.

Experience
- : A senior-level Grant Writer would have extensive experience in grant writing, particularly in technical or specialized fields. They would likely have a track record of successfully securing grants and funding for projects similar to yours. Senior Grant Writers often have advanced skills in project management, strategic planning, and budget development, which can be valuable assets in the grant application process
Education
- High School Diploma required, some college and advanced degree preferred but not required.
