How You Will Have Impact
- The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for helping the organization uncover insights and drive business results from smarter use and application of analytics with internal and external data.
- Aid the business in making impactful decisions by evaluating impacts, developing models and telling "data stories" with the available information and effective data visualizations.
- Build appropriate models to address needs and key questions; perform assessments/analysis using variety of analytics tools
Location / Community
- This position is based in our client's HQ in Tampa, FL, working a hybrid arrangement (3 days / week in office).
- One of the best places to live in the Southeast, with affordable living options, gorgeous tropical weather, quick access to the beach, and more. A major business center, it's also known for its museums and other cultural offerings.
Background Profile
- Person must be a champion for the BI capabilities.
- Retail or service industry experience is critical.
- Demonstrated proficiency in visualization tools including Tableau (advanced level knowledge), Alteryx, Excel, OBIEE and/or other BI tools.
- Knowledgeable in data warehousing, analytics, and ETL concepts & best practices.
- Ability to write simple SQL queries Oracle/MS SQL Server and other databases preferred
- Agile/Scrum Experience and working knowledge of JIRA Preferred.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with peers, management and internal/external customers or vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Local to Tampa, FL or willing to relocate with some company assistance.
- Authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future
