Job DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Analyst is directly responsible for working within the data analytics team and each Correct Craft company to track operations and analyze data trends to support strategic business decisions. This position will develop new reports as well as support routine maintenance for existing reports. Additionally, this position will implement reporting from new or existing datasets and ensure data integrity in data operations. This position will work with internal and external customers to support Business Intelligence and and data analytics initiatives.
This position will travel approximately 10% of the time. This is an onsite role in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
- Oversee new dataset creation and ensure compatibility through architectural structure.
- Connect to various systems using backend databases.
- In-depth understanding and experience with Microsoft BI stacks such as Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
- Query and execute formulas to prepare data in a suitable format for visualization.
- Generate automated multi-page reports that refresh based on a set schedule.
- Provide routine support for all companies’ Business Intelligence needs.
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective people and resource management, communication, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, or related field.
- Understanding of business operations fundamentals and workflow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and Smartsheet.
- Expertise in writing SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to work with customers to frame project implementations.
- Experience with database management and architecture.
- Marine, Engineering or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with cloud development and data infrastructure preferred.

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex technical documents.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to present information effectively and persuasively.
- Organizes and prioritizes critical tasks to meet project timelines. Identifies resources required to complete tasks and escalates issues when conflicts occur.
- Ability to make sound judgments and take the initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision.
