About the Role & Team:
Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics is part of the Finance organization for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. We influence decision making with integrated, objective, and applicable insights. Our team drives value by delivering quality data and analytic technologies to promote a clear understanding of consumers and Guests that are used to identify improvement opportunities and influence crucial strategies across the business.
Our team develops Tableau dashboards to support data driven business decisions across Disney Experiences. Data transformation may be completed using Dataiku or by writing custom SQL. We also develop new Tableau reports and maintain existing Tableau reports per client requests. Our team works closely with clients to understand their visualization requirements.
What You Will Do:
Create and maintains Tableau dashboards from guest survey data
Assemble and transform survey data to be visualized with Tableau
Identify process improvements within legacy dashboards
Control user dashboard access to protect resources with appropriate privileges
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
Familiarity with Tableau Software, Dataiku, SQL, and/or Snowflake
Proven attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proven written and verbal communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and prioritize requests
Excellent guest service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification from Tableau
Experience with collecting, transforming, and analyzing survey data in Tableau
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including Industrial Engineering, MIS, CIS, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field
Master’s degree in a quantitative field or working towards a master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred
