Job Summary
Vista Equity Partners is seeking a Sr. Analyst to provide support to the Corporate FP&A team and report to the Manager of FP&A. The Sr. Analyst will work with upper management to budget and forecast throughout the year. This position will function as a key member of the Finance team and will interact with various areas of the business to provide decision support through ad hoc analysis. To be successful in Vista's growing and fast paced environment, this individual will need excellent verbal communication and analytical skills.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA and will require one day a week in office.
Responsibilities
* Act as the subject matter expert and provide ongoing support to leaders across various Operations teams to develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
* Work closely with accounting team at month-end to ensure entries are coded correctly and material accruals are recorded.
* Meet with department leads on a monthly/quarterly cadence to discuss forecast changes/variance analysis and assess data needs
* Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages for business partners
* Analyze large quantities of data at a macro and micro level to drive strategic company decisions
* Maintain and improve sophisticated financial models, budget/forecast within Essbase and Vena, our SAAS-based planning solution.
Qualifications
* BS/BA degree in business/accounting or related field
* 3-5 years of relevant professional experience including public accounting, accounting, and/or corporate finance
* Experience in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
* Strong accounting and analysis skills, including system/technology skills and proficient in Excel
* Oracle Essbase and Vena experience a plus
* Detail oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* High level of ownership of assigned tasks and initiative to achieve outstanding results.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate across multiple business functions
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000 - $130,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other reward may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
