REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ Years of web application development using ASP.NET, .NET Core, XML, HTML, Javascript
5+ Years of building, deploying and managing application delivery using Azure DevOps
5+ Years of TSQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggersd) experience in designing database solutions for we applications
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Solution Architect will work in conjunction with the eGov & IT staff. The successful candidate will work with the IT staff to identify problems and address those problems with innovative solutions.
SUMMARY:
The Solution Architect will assist the eGov & IT Division with various duties including, but not limited to:
1. Participate in the full life cycle of development activities – define, develop, test, install, document, and maintain.
2. Maintain a source control and inventory system to ensure proper version control.
3. Create and maintain documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, stored
procedures, functional and technical design documents, acceptance test plans, and production release schedules.
4. Ability to translate system requirements into technical specifications, processes, and data mapping for existing system and system modifications.
5. Evaluate feasibility of enhancements requested by the user community.
6. Respond to upgrades needed to comply with new regulations.
7. Support activities and tickets with an internal Help Desk team that provides phone support to end users.
8. Follow systems engineering, development, and deployment best practices.
9. Provides status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Computer Information or any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the previously described education and experience.
• 5-10 years of web application development using ASP.NET (C#, Web APIs, Entity Framework, MVC/Razor/Web pages).
• 5-10 years of specific development experience with Microsoft .NET, .NET Core, XML, HTML, JavaScript
• 5-10 years of TSQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers) experience in designing database solutions for web applications.
• 5-10 years of experience building, deploying, and managing application delivery using Azure DevOps.
• 5 or more years of experience with SSRS and other reporting services preferred.
• 2 or more years AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Senior Software Developer with experience in designing and develop enterprise-wide web applications.
• Highly proficient .NET Core, MS SQL relational databases, Angular, ASP.NET, and TSQL.
• Ability to design, develop, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications.
• Highly self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and sustain key customer relationships.
