Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities

• Become a brand expert for both Wit & Wisdom and Democracy Clothing.
• Develop engaging, high-quality, cohesive, and visually appealing content for our various Social Media channels that resonate with our target audience and increase followers.
• Content to include video footage, edited videos, transition videos, reels, and in-platform stories.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and Social Media best practices.
• Suggest and implement new strategies and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
• Assist in developing a comprehensive Social Media content plan for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, ensuring messaging and brand voice is consistent across all channels, to maximize our digital presence.
• Responsible for the day-to-day posting along with analysis of content performance & Social Media metrics.
• Content should be monitored and adjusted, as needed, to improve engagement and reach.
• Monitor Social Media metrics and generate reports to evaluate the success of Social Media efforts. Implement data insights to refine content strategies and optimize performance.
• Work closely with Creative Team and Sales Team to gather assets, information, and insights for content creation.
• Work closely with the Creative and Digital Teams to maintain a content calendar for scheduling posts, track important dates, and ensure a cohesive posting schedule.
• Build and nurture online community as well as manage online reputation for both brands.
• Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages promptly.
• Foster positive relationships with our followers and address any inquiries or concerns professionally and in brand voice.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation skills.
• Expertise with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok platforms.
• Knowledge of current trends and platform tools: transitions, filters, music, stickers, links, green screen, reels, stories, etc
• Proficiency in on-camera work, graphic design tools, photo/video editing software, and Social Media scheduling/management platforms, such as iMovie, CapCut, Adobe Rush, Photoshop, TikTok, Instagram Reels.
• Understand the importance of performance data with a strong ability to analyze convert findings into actionable plans.
• Possess an eye for aesthetic curation, cohesive visual and written storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with a positive attitude and an eagerness to make impactful contributions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-departmentally, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 3-4 years of Social Media experience.
• Reliable form of transportation

Pay: $66,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
