Job Summary
The creative, self-driven Social Media Senior Coordinator will be responsible for managing the various Social Media platforms utilized by the college for brand enhancement. A primary responsibility will involve formulating and executing effective Social Media strategies for CEI, to boost engagement, foster community interaction, and spotlight the valuable educational role CEI plays in the community. The incumbent will coordinate with various CEI divisions and programs to ensure consistent and impactful messaging. Working in close tandem with the CEI divisions, Communications/Marketing Director, and the creative services team, by presenting an opportunity to contribute significantly to CEI’s marketing efforts.
Typical Job Functions
Manage CEI’s Social Media current and future platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)Work closely with and mentor other CEI employees involved in Social Media as well as act as a liaison to academic Social Media-related programs and degrees Develop, implement, and oversee college Social Media strategiesCreate, post, and share engaging Social Media content regularlyTake photos at CEI events to promote on Social Media platforms Shoot and edit videos for Social Media purposesEnsure consistency of design with adherence to CEI brand standardsStay up to date with current Social Media trends and technologiesMonitor user-generated content for appropriatenessPrevent copyright and licensing infringements within Social Media pages and abide by platform rules and CEI policiesStay up to date with the latest Social Media best practices and technologiesTrack and report Social Media effectiveness using data metrics and analyticsWork with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealingCommunicate with industry professionals and influencers via Social Media to create a strong networkProvide constructive feedbackOther duties assignedMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 3 years of experienceMinimum of 1 year of work experience in Social Media marketingUnderstands Social Media rules, policies, and engagement techniquesStrong/demonstrated computer/internet skillsPhotography, videography, and video editing skillsGraphic design skills and Adobe Suite training Excellent/demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work independently Copywriting experienceIncumbent must reside in the State of IdahoAdditional Desired Qualifications

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentEmployees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
Onsight work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required.
